These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GhostWriter AI (the “Service”) at ghostwriterai.io. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GhostWriter AI rewrites AI-generated text to read more naturally. Output is generated by automated systems and is provided “as is” without guarantees of any specific result, including any guarantee that output will or will not be identified by any particular AI-detection tool.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in academic dishonesty, fraud, or any activity that violates the rules of an institution or third party you are accountable to
  • Produce unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing content
  • Circumvent usage limits, security measures, or abuse the API
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation

You are solely responsible for how you use the output and for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and any rules that apply to you.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping it up to date.

4. Plans & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or yearly basis through Stripe. Plan limits apply as described on our pricing page. You authorise us to charge your payment method for the plan you select until you cancel.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; see our Refund Policy for refund terms.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the text you submit and the output you generate. We retain ownership of the Service, its software, and branding.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any consequences arising from your use of the output.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
